Spot.us is looking for people to document the out of control pothole situation. Read the email below for details:
Hello
This is David Cohn from Spot.Us. I contacted you a few weeks ago about our efforts to report on the pothole situation in Oakland which has gotten out of control.
I am following up to let you know about a pothole search event we are now organizing.

We want to get lots of bikers together to go on a pothole hunt. Then we collect the location of all the potholes and map them out so we can show just how bad the situation is in certain areas.
We would love for you to get involved. If you are interested – just send me a note: David@spot.us.
We will need help spreading the word about the event – so we can get enough bikers on May 2nd to volunteer their time to find potholes – and we also need to raise another $55 (5 people giving $10 each) so we can give the map context and meaning by hiring a reporter to let us know why the problem is so persistent.
